We are “Committed to Excellence”, and we work hard to make the site a primary source for timely information for all users, and a main gateway for improved communication between parents, teachers, students and other members of our community.

WHAT'S HAPPENING

Congratulations to our 8th grade Lady Hawks on their victory last night over Maroa-Forsyth and winning the SECTIONAL TITLE.  They head to Tolono Unity JHS on Saturday, March 21st for the State Tournament.

Wall of Heroes

All middle school students and staff with family members in the military are invited to bring in pictures of their loved ones to hang on our wall honoring military children and their families.  If your parents, grandparents, or siblings have served or are serving in the military, please bring a picture of them to Ms. Campbell.  Pictures of them in uniform and/or with you are even better!

Note from the nurse concerning the 2015-2016 school year:

 Attention parents of incoming 6th graders:

Your child will need a physical and dental exam along with a Tdap shot and meningitis shot.

 Attention incoming 9th grade parents:

Your child needs to have a school physical with a Tdap shot.

 Please print the physical and dental forms from our website under health forms and take to your appointment with you.  Make sure to fill out the health section on the physical form and sign it.

 If your child takes any medications or has any food allergies please have these forms filled out also, all forms can be found on our website.

  • Good luck to our volleyball team at State tomorrow.  They play Mackinaw Dee-Mack at Tolono Unity at 11:15.

  • Attention 7th & 8th grade students:  FAN BUS permission slips are due today. Any 7th & 8th grade girl in Ms. Davis’ PE class who signs up for the fan bus will receive 2 free pacer passes for next quarter.  The fan bus will leave from the middle school at 8:45.

     

     

  • There WILL be track practice on Monday at 10 am

     

     

  • There is a 1:30 dismissal today and no school next week.  4th quarter begins on Monday, March 30th.

     

     

  • The lost and found will be cleaned out over break and donated to a charity.  Please make sure to check for missing items before Spring Break.

     

  • Attention 8th grade parents:  It’s time to start thinking about the 8th grade promotion slide show!! Please send 3-4 pictures (baby or recent) and group photos to szokebrad@gmail.com

  • Miss Little’s 6th grade classroom project is for six Chromebook laptops for students to engage in learning and cooperatively work with other groups of students during multiple subjects. The link is www.donorschoose.org/misslittle

     

     

  • Please continue to send in your Box Tops for Education. We are having a contest through the end of the school year. For every $500 we earn, the PTO will give a $50 gift card to a lucky winner! For every 20 Box Tops you turn in, your name will be entered in the drawing - and will remain in the drawings through the end of the year. We have already earned $690, so we will be drawing a winner next week from those who have already brought in Box Tops. Once we get to $1,000 we will draw another winner and so on! Remember to put your name and teachers name on the bag. Good Luck!

  • Krekel’s on North Grand will donate 10% of all purchases from 6pm-8pm on Saturday, March 21st to the 2015 Riverton After Prom, participants do not need to show or tell them that they are there for Riverton. Please support your after prom
