TEXAS ROAD HOUSE GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER

 Back by popular demand…The Riverton Middle School PTO is once again selling Texas Road House gift cards.  Last year this sale raised $1,500 for the Middle School.  Remember, the PTO pays for all the transportation costs of middle school field trips/reward trips and countless other supplemental class room materials.

 What are the benefits of this fundraiser?

  • For every $30 gift card purchased, you receive $5 off your next visit.

  • 10% of all gift cards sales are returned to the RMS PTO.

  • Texas Road House will be sponsoring a 10% night in January where 10% of sales from that night get returned to the RMS PTO.

     EVERY STUDENT that turns in an order form with at least one gift card sold will be put into a drawing to win an X-BOX 360 donated by GameStop.

     

    Individual top sellers for the school-

  • 1st Place Top Seller - Texas Roadhouse tumbler cup filled with candy, Dinner for two certificate, kid coin, and other Texas Roadhouse goodies.

  • 2nd Place Top Seller - Texas Roadhouse tumbler cup filled with candy, Free Entrée certificate, kid coin, and other Texas Roadhouse goodies.

  • 3rd Place Top Seller - Texas Roadhouse tumbler cup filled with candy, Free Appetizer certificate, kid coin, and other Texas Roadhouse goodies.

     

    The top selling homeroom will get with a free lunch provided by Texas Road House on an upcoming Friday in January.

     

    Order forms are due back to your home room teacher by December 1st.

Tomorrow’s lunch:  Turkey Roast w/ gravy and dinner roll

 

Friday for lunch is our Thanksgiving Meal of Turkey Roast w/ gravy, dinner roll, mashed potatoes, green beans and hot apple slices.  No salads will be offered.

 

Attention teachers:  Please post eligibility today.

 

Attention 6th, 7th & 8th grade girls:  Volleyball sign-ups are in the office.  Tryouts for 6th grade will on December 2nd & 3rd; 7th grade will be on the 4th & 5th; 8th grade tryouts will be after basketball season.  All tryouts will be in the morning from 6:15-7:30.  Make sure you have an up-to-date physical on file with Nurse Heather.  Please make sure to pick up a tryout letter when you sign-up.

 

All Scentsy forms will be due on DECEMBER 1st.  NO late orders can be accepted.  Please make all checks out to RMS. 

 

6th Grade Band Schedule has been changed.  Please look at the schedule hanging outside Mrs. Pinter’s room.  Full band will now be on Thursday’s, starting next week.  Check the schedule for other changes. 

 

Friday night is the annual varsity vs. faculty basketball game at the Hawk Center in Riverton High School. Come out and cheer for your favorite middle school teachers like Mr. Gibson, Mr. Sagle, Mr. Koehler and Mr. Bertolino while getting to see our boys varsity Hawks basketball team in action. JV starts at 6:15; varsity vs. faculty will begin immediately after.

 

Next week the following beginning band students will have lessons after school:

Flutes on Monday; Clarinets and Saxes on Tuesday.

You may ride the 3:25 activity buses home after lessons.

 

Miles of Smiles is Friday, November 21st.  If you signed up for this program please make sure your student is in attendance.

 

Congratulations to the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball team on their victory last night. They play again tonight at home against Athens.

 

CHANGE:  The girls have a game in Girard tonight. The bus leaves at 4:40.  7th grade game will begin at 6:00.

 

Texas Road House fundraiser is due December 1st.

 

The 7th grade girls’ bball team plays Blue Mound Meridian in the first round of regionals on Saturday, November 22nd at 11:15.  The game will be played in Williamsville.

 

Band & Choir members are selling Scentsy for their winter fundraiser.  Orders are due December 1st, please make checks payable to RMS.  If you'd like to place an order please find a band/choir member.
